Please understand that as a therapist in private practice, I am unable to provide 24-hour crisis services. In the event of a medical/psychiatric emergency or an emergency involving a threat to your safety or the safety of others, please call 911 to request emergency assistance or go to the nearest emergency room.
Whenever possible, please have yourself or someone else communicate to me the nature of the emergency and any follow-up care I may need to be advised of by leaving me a voice message at 508-356-6477.
You can also contact the Emergency Services Mobile Crisis Team to conduct an in-person safety and psychiatric evaluation at a location of your choosing by calling 1-800-977-5555.
The Emergency Services unit is available 7 days per week, 24 hours per day to provide on-site or mobile assessment and screening to any individual experiencing a mental health or substance abuse problem, or both. The ESP service area includes Worcester and its surrounding towns, and also the communities of Leominster, Fitchburg, Ayer, Clinton, and Gardner. Services are provided to children, adolescents, and adults.
If you are in need of additional emotional support outside of my regular business hours, you can attempt to reach me by email or phone. If I have availability, I will offer you my soonest appointment. If I am unavailable to respond to you immediately, you can call one of the 24/7 hotlines for additional support at any time of the day or night. You can find a list of appropriate hotlines on this website under the Resources tab-Mental Health Links-Suicide Awareness and Prevention.
