My passion and purpose is for you and your teen to know you are not alone. It might feel like no one else understands, maybe that you are different, weird, and just feel like you don’t fit in I provide a place where you can feel accepted for who you are. I know you are doing the best you can and you can learn skills to do it even better and make positive changes to make your life even better.
I do my best work with anxious clients who feel their worry is uncontrollable. I can help you to learn how to mute your inner critic/worry voice by teaching you strategies to overcome anxiety, avoidance, manage stress and overwhelm.
My goal is for you is to accept where you are now and gain support and skills so that you can feel better. You can make lasting changes in your life to improve your mood, relationships, ability to regulate emotions, express yourself to manage the inevitable ups and downs in life.
When I am not working, you can find me at home with my husband, my two teens and my Shih Tzu Bella. I love being creative and am always involved in some kind of DIY project, trying a new recipe in the kitchen, or hanging out with Bella binge watching HGTV. That is of course when I am not cheering my kids on from the sidelines or hockey rink!
